With roots in Malaysia, I’ve had the opportunity to live and work in both Scotland and London, and I recently made Scotland my permanent home. These experiences have shaped my approach to chiropractic: it’s not just about techniques, but about understanding people, families and the real-life challenges they face.
My passion for paediatric chiropractic is deeply personal. Misdiagnosed with infant torticollis at birth, I eventually required surgery as a teenager to partially remove one of my neck muscles. That journey inspired me to ensure that every baby, toddler and child has the chance for proper check-ups, optimal nervous system development and the freedom to thrive without limits.
In practice today, I use Applied Kinesiology alongside my chiropractic training to read the “bigger picture” of what’s happening in someone’s body. By combining hands-on care with insight into nervous system patterns, movement, nutrition and stress responses, I aim to help patients not only recover but also build lasting resilience.
I actively work hard to make sure Journey Chiropractic is different from a typical clinic. It’s calm, welcoming and inclusive — a place where you can drop the mask, be yourself and feel at ease. I know first-hand how important that is, especially for people who haven’t always felt genuinely seen or accepted, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside of practice, I stay active through Pilates, yoga and hiking, and I’m also a self-confessed foodie who loves exploring new flavours. These passions keep me grounded and continuously shape my holistic approach to health.
